Our core team consists of two lead planners, Owner Lauryn Prattes and lead event designer Ramsey Stewart, as well as two associate planners: Francesca Leme and Leigh Heisserman. Behind the scenes we work together, believing that 4 heads are better then one, brainstorming, researching and working tirelessly to make each and every event flawless from start to finish. With a focus on luxury events, each planner takes a limited number of events each year in order to give our clients a personalized and individual experience. We don't believe weddings should be cookie cutter, but we do believe weddings should be special and well styled.
Extraordinary occasions don’t happen by accident: They are expertly created with enthusiasm, unbridled creativity, and devotion to the details, all while our clients enjoy a stress-free planning experience laced with anticipation and surprise. From design schemes that are soft and minimalist to ones that are luxe and over-the-top, we never settle, making each clients event unique, custom and a night they will never forget.
Lauryn Prattes Styling and Events emphasizes quality over quantity, taking a limited number of clients each year to ensure the utmost attention to detail and a cohesive, curated, and expertly executed result every time. No matter the size or the setting, we believe that expectations should always be exceeded, and that impeccable service, attention to detail, uncompromised professionalism, and comfortable luxury are always in style.
Sometimes life requires little luxuries and indulgences. Nothing goes together quite like a bottle of french champagne and french macarons. Although macarons have become trendy in the past few years, but Lauryn was eating them long before La Duree came stateside, and will continue to savor these petit Parisienne confections long after the trend fades.
The perfect pair of shoes can be the foundation for any outfit, and is a shopping indulgence that we just can't resist! Currently coveting... Valentino Rockstud pumps and So Kate Louboutins.
From our favorite Anthropologie candles scattered around our offices to candle collections at events - we love adding a hint of signature scent to any event, as well as the moodiness and ambiance flickering candlelight gives.
We have a weak spot for pretty paper goods and believe that they truly set the tone for any great event. And of course we love calligraphy and have been known to challenge our calligraphers to write on everything from macarons to glass jars.
As Maire Antoinette may or may not have famously said, "Let Them Eat Cake", we think wedding cakes are a timeless tradition, but shouldn't be boring either.
