An intimate Provençal weekend where effortless elegance, natural beauty, and thoughtful detail set the tone for a celebration rooted in place and artistry.
Set in the heart of Provence at Domaine de Fontenille, Elizabeth and Jay gathered an intimate group of 55 guests for a weekend that felt relaxed, romantic, and deeply connected to its surroundings. The celebration began with a sun-soaked pool party, followed by a Provençal-style barbecue inspired by the region’s lavender fields and ripe apricots. On the wedding day, Elizabeth wore a lace gown by Monique Lhuillier, perfectly complementing the refined yet organic design direction. The aesthetic was built around a Pierre Frey fabric we sourced as the foundation for custom elements, layered with vintage plates, sterling silver place settings, and whimsical stationery illustrated with botanicals, bees, and dragonflies. Vintage lavender sachets doubled as place cards, adding a tactile, sensory detail that felt both personal and unmistakably of the region.
