This tented wedding at a private home in Carmel was planned and designed for Our Table’s Company at Georgia’s family residence, where a beloved childhood tree once stood. Wanting to honor the memories tied to that tree, the couple envisioned a reception inspired by their love of dining and gathering, creating a restaurant-style experience they named The Good Tree. Beneath a glass atrium style tent, guests were welcomed into a space layered with thoughtful, restaurant-inspired details; from a hostess-stand escort display and table lamps as centerpieces to after-dinner mints presented by servers. A custom black-and-white marble inspired floor anchored the reception, while a sculptural bar wrapped around a newly installed tree served as the emotional and visual centerpiece, symbolically bringing the original backyard tree back to life.
